Events and PerfomancesWe present a graceful, tasteful and powerful show combining many dance genres with pole acrobatics featuring one or more performers...you decide! All of our routines are choreographed with themes ranging from retro dance, such as goovy 60's go go girls to contemporary cabaret. Our shows utilize centrifugal force and gravity defying pole acrobatics to display the true athleticism, grace, femininity, and sensuality of pole dancing as an artform...an exciting and entertaining combination, not to be missed! Shelly holds the titles of 1st runner up for the 2010 USPDF West Coast Regional and the 2011 Pole Burlesque competition. Shelly also competed in the 2011 USPDF Championship and 2010 East Meets West Tripole Challenge. A professional dancer, Shelly integrates her training in modern, jazz, and cabaret dance with the athletics of pole fitness to create her pole dance signature. Her versatile style on the pole has been described as artistic and graceful, and also, fiery and confident, with emphasis on using dynamic accents, musicality and storytelling. Primarily a self trained pole dancer of 4 years, Shelly has also received instruction from Jenyne Butterfly, Felix Cane, Pantera Blacksmith, Steven Retchless, Marlo Fiskin and JK Aloia. Shelly performs at SF Supper Club and is excited to join the Uptown Club as a guest pole performer for Hubba Hubba Revue. |

 Philip Deal, native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, is an internationally renowned classical and contemporary dancer. He is an award winning choreographer and teacher, whose works have been commissioned by dance companies, schools, and professional dancers in the United States and abroad. Philip began pole dancing in North Carolina at Chasers Bar, Charlotte’s only all male review. He received his Pole Fitness certification through Body and Pole, NYC X-Pert Teacher Training under Kyra Johannesen. In October this past year Philip was privileged to compete in the Masters Division at the American Pole Fitness Championships in NYC. In December he was cast as the Dildo Prince in Boston's famous burlesque parody of the Nutcracker, The Slutcracker, as featured on ABC Nightline News. Philip is now the first male sponsored athlete by Platinum Stages Dance Poles, and is a representative for them on the North East coast. The Amazing "flying" Laura
Meet "flying" Laura Martin: “flying” Laura is unfolding her dream of aiding in the transformation of pole dancing from the underground to an unobjectionable art. A passionate performer, Laura has astonished audiences since 2000. Testing her physical limits through multiple disciplines such as martial arts, swimming, yoga, running, and over all core and strength training. Now teaching in north county San Diego, she continues to inspire lives through pole dancing as well as boxing. Laura is currently 2nd runner up of California Pole Dance Champion and holds the title of Most Flexible. A self taught pole acrobat, she has been performing for the last 10 years in everything from vaudeville cirque to music events including: Future Ape 2007, Wonder Tonic - San Marcos, CA - June 2007, as well as a variety of appearances with a Los Angeles based circus, Lucent Dossier." Currently she performs with Steph Johnson a jazz, blues & soul artist of San Diego. Laura emphasizes transitional motion in her art, integrating poses and fluid dance motion, demonstrating both strength and flexibility ultimately creating a unique pole acrobatic demonstration.
